1.Who we are

WhoLeft is operated by Alexander Pietrangeli. You can reach us any time at support@wholeftme.com.

2.What data we collect

• Email address – collected when you create an account or sign in.
• Instagram follower data – the follower and following lists from the Instagram data file you upload. This includes usernames and timestamps.

Free use is on-device only. If you use WhoLeft without an account, your uploaded file is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers — we only keep a count of the results, never the usernames.

Ongoing tracking (subscribers). If you subscribe and enable ongoing tracking, your Instagram username, follower and following lists (usernames and timestamps), and your scan history are stored in your account so we can track changes over time.

We do not collect your Instagram password and never access your Instagram account. We do not collect posts, messages, or profile content — only usernames.

3.How we use your data

• Your email is used to send sign-in links and occasional product updates.
• Your Instagram follower data is stored securely in your account to power the app's tracking features.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4.Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in the EU (Ireland). Each user's data is isolated and protected by row-level security, so only you can access your own data.

5.Third-party services

• Supabase – authentication and data storage (EU/Ireland)
• RevenueCat and Stripe – subscription management and payment processing. Your card details are entered with the payment processor and never reach our servers.
• Resend – delivery of sign-in and account emails
• Formspree – delivery of contact-form messages (the name, email, and message you submit through the contact form)
• Google Fonts and Cloudflare – used to load fonts and site assets; these providers receive your IP address when the page loads

6.Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which permanently and immediately deletes all your stored data — on both this website and the WhoLeft iPhone app, since they share one account. Deleting your account does not cancel any active subscription; you'll need to cancel through your app store or payment provider.

7.Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data – for example under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK, or the CCPA in California. These include the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of the data we hold about you. You can delete your data yourself from Settings at any time. To request a copy of your data or exercise any other right, email us at support@wholeftme.com and we'll take care of it.

8.Children

WhoLeft is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children.

9.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. If a change is significant, we'll let you know.
